Welcome to Swee Lee Clarke Quay, a vibrant and innovative cafe situated at Blk 3B River Valley Rd, #01-06 Clarke Quay, Singapore. Opened in 2024 as a fresh take on the beloved Bras Basah store, Swee Lee combines a passion for music with a love of great coffee and a welcoming atmosphere, offering something for everyone—musicians and non-musicians alike.

As you step inside Swee Lee, you’re greeted by an incredibly unique setting that merges a music store with a relaxed café vibe. The warm, rustic tones of the interior blend seamlessly with high-quality sound systems, inviting you to unwind and indulge your senses. The café features an impressive lounge area where you can soak in the melodies spun from handpicked vinyl records. For a small fee, you can immerse yourself in the delightful world of music while enjoying a cup of their delicious brew.

The menu is carefully crafted, featuring a compact selection that reflects quality over quantity. While the main focus might be the ambiance, diners can enjoy an array of delightful options such as scrumptious pastas, toasted sandwiches, and a tantalizing choice of desserts, including mouth-watering waffles and creamy ice cream. Whether you’re in the mood for a rich, robust coffee that energizes or a refreshing tea, Swee Lee’s diverse beverage selection, including original cocktails, caters to all tastes.

But it is the unique offerings that truly set Swee Lee apart. Imagine indulging in a comforting bowl of pasta or a warm sandwich while enjoying the harmonious sounds of your favorite vinyl tracks playing in the background. Customers rave about the inviting vibes; one patron, Bernie Chin, shared, "Love love love this place!!! Awesome vibes! I’m a musician so I enjoy the environment here." Another review from Gatsby emphasizes the laid-back atmosphere, perfect for unwinding while also enjoying the thrill of music, stating, "It is a good place to chill out, also can listen to music."

For those looking to engage even further with music, Swee Lee offers an extraordinary “guitar vault” accessible only through cutting-edge face recognition technology. This intriguing space allows musicians to explore a curated selection of guitars, further blending the worlds of dining and musical discovery. Budi Saputra Halim remarks, "You don’t have to be a musician to visit, so everyone can enjoy the facilities."

In summary, Swee Lee Clarke Quay isn’t just another café — it’s a haven for music lovers and food enthusiasts alike. With quality food, strong drinks, and a creative atmosphere, it’s no wonder patrons are eager to return. Whether you’re looking for a cozy spot to relax after a long day or a lively space to connect with fellow music aficionados, Swee Lee offers an experience like no other in the heart of Clarke Quay.

Opened in 2024 to replace their Bras Basah store. This music store / vinyl store / cafe / coffee shop, offer a new concept that combine everything, you don’t have to be a musician to visit so everyone can enjoy the facilities. And when you are ready, you can enter their guitar vault but it protected with face recognition readers…

Love love love this place!!! Awesome vibes! I’m a musician so I enjoy the environment here. They allowed me to test the drums, and it was so solid!! There were many guitars too. Such a great place for musicians. I came over after lunch so managed to just have a cup of coffee. Coffee was strong and to my liking! Will definitely be back here!

Love this place!! It is a good place to chill out, also can listen to music. You can freely use the lounge but for music(LP), need to spend min$10 there for drinks. Not crowded during weekdays.

Small menu consisting of mostly pastas and toasted sandwiches for food, waffles and ice cream for dessert, and nice variety of teas, coffee, and hard drinks for beverages, including their own original cocktails Pasta and sandwiches are pretty good even if the latter felt a little overpriced. All prices are inclusive of GST and have no service charge, so that's nice. Best part of this place is the atmosphere, it's a cozy vibe that is perfect for hanging out by yourself or with friends. Has power points for you to use your tablet/laptop charger if you plan on doing work the entire day, which they allow. Just take note that more people usually start coming in during the mid afternoon on both weekends and weekdays.

Had a dreamy experience at Swee Lee Clarke Quay! It's a unique music instrument shop + cafe, with good old turntables where diners can play the store's hand-picked collection of vinyls. Having food and drinks next to turntables is perhaps a questionable practice, but I have no complaints. Played a couple of vocal ballards that came out perfectly, rich and warm with the subtle crackles from the vinlys. The imperfect analogue audio and the spinning vinyl gave a rather hypnotising experience, bringing one closer to the music. Of the drinks we ordered, my favourite was the gula melaka tonic. Gula melaka always brings out the best in coffee. I don't mind indulging in this sweetness from time to time. Would love to drop by again when I have time to spare.

Don’t miss this spot if you’re into music gear and a chill vibe! I popped into Swee Lee recently and was seriously impressed. The service? Super friendly and helpful — the staff really know their stuff and made it easy to browse without pressure. They’ve also been hosting some pretty cool events lately, which is a great way to bring the community together. And the place itself? Spotless. Everything’s neatly arranged, and it just feels good to walk around and take your time. Overall, Swee Lee nails it. Whether you’re picking up strings, scoping out guitars, or just soaking in the music shop energy, it’s worth a visit.

Had lunch nearby, chanced upon this spacious vinyl music / guitar cum cafe. Had a cup of long black, and enjoyed the rustic laid back vibe in the cafe seating/ lounge area. Especially so with the sunlight lighting up the place through the high partial glass roof. Totally felt relaxed on a weekday afternoon… And the coffee was surprising good! Will be back to try their other dishes!!

Honestly this is one of my favourite cafes that I love to bring my friends to and their drinks are refreshing and their snacks or meals are delicious to eat once in a while!! The staff members were really friendly in helping us find the vinyls that we wanted as well as there was a variety of instruments that we could play!! There was live music which made the atmosphere more lively and I really enjoyed it with my friends!!
